CITY OF PRINCETON IS SEEKING A FULL-TIME PUBLIC WORKS LABORER The City of Princeton is currently accepting applications for a Full-time General Laborer Public Works Employee. Duties include performing a variety of skilled tasks involved in the day-to-day operations of the public works department including but not limited to snow removal, tree trimming, repair of equipment, utility operations including meter reading, sewer jetting & hydrant flushing, road maintenance, building maintenance, lawn mowing, some administrative tasks, etc. High School diploma, or equivalent, is required. Possession of a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and Commercial Driver’s License (or ability to obtain a CDL upon hiring) is required. Benefit package includes health insurance, State WRS Retirement, sick and holiday pay and more. Salary will depend on experience and qualifications. Brush & leaves should not be put by the roadway more than a couple days prior to pick-up. Items must be separated and not co-mingled by the road. If items are not separated, a notice will be given and the next time your property will be passed by and not picked up until separated. Items should be in loose piles by the roadway vs. bagged.
*ATV/UTV 's are allowed to drive on City Streets in the City of Princeton.
*Utility Payments & Other Forms can utilize the Drop Box adjacent to the front door.
*Home & Business Address Numbers need to be visible from the roadway. Check to make sure your numbers are in a prominent location & can be seen from the roadway. This is especially important in emergency situations.
