The original cemetery maps are many years old, dating back to the 1800's. Being made of cloth, the maps were very old, delicate, and in need of preservation so the history would not be lost. The cemetery maps were stored in a filing cabinet, rolled up and placed in a metal tube. In effort to preserve the maps, contact info was gathered of people who could preserve the historical cloth maps without losing the history written on them.
