 During what hours is City Hall open?

Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm, except for Federal holidays and weather emergencies.

 Where do I go to vote?

The City of Princeton is divided into four wards.  All four wards use the same polling place - located at 431 West Main Street - in the Council Chambers behind the Fire Station.  Polls are open from 7:00am to 8:00pm on election days.

 Where do I apply for a dog license?

Dog licenses are handled by the City Administrator's office.  License fees are $5.00 for animals spayed or neutered and $10.00 for animals not spayed or neutered.  Licenses are required each year by March 31st.  In addition to the fee, owners are required to provide proof of rabies vaccination. 

 When are Council meetings?

The Council will always meet on the 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers.  If there are agenda items to come before the Council there may be a special meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.   The Council Chambers is located at 431 West Main Street in the back room of the fire station.  Agendas for the meetings may be found by clicking on the link for the meeting located under EVENTS CALENDER on the home page.

 When is recycling picked up?

Recycling services are provided by Waste Management in conjunction with garbage. Recycling is picked up every other Monday, while garbage is picked up every Monday. A City-wide bulk pickup is always held in the spring and generally in the fall.  A calendar of the dates is available on the website or at City Hall.


 What can I put out with the recycling?

Recycling is co-mingled paper, cardboard, aluminum, tin cans, glass and #1 and #2 plastics.
